• A SYMPHONY OF VISUAL DEPTH •

“Mira’s art is a fusion of a vibrant organic reality in an inorganic world… an intoxicating palette.”
-Shana Betz, Producer

“Mira Lisa does in her Art what I do in my design of spaces through Architecture and Feng Shui: Be it spiritual, emotional, intellectual, or physical, Mira’s paintings uplift human consciousness.”
-Robert Lowe, Architect, Feng Shui Expert

“Mira touches souls.... not only with her art but with who she is BEING.... The light has given her the gift of art.”
-Kelly Christensen

A contemporary abstract colorist, Mira Lisa has received training from prominent instructors as Françoise Gilot (Picasso’s companion 1944-1953), Dayna Mason and Karen Russo. A native to Southern California, Mira Lisa developed a strong foundation for color, design and originality. Her works are a colorful symphony.

Paralleling the words of Paul Gauguin, ‘Art is either plagiarism or a revolution,’ Mira journeys along that same path of self revolution—an authentic reality of depth and beauty; liberated by the profundity of the human spirit and Earth as a living treasure.

Mira Lisa is strongly inspired by Chagall, Matisse, Kandinsky and Van Gogh. Each painting is a visual journey; expressing an inner realm, where a vibrant and vital reality fuses with daily existence. Privately collected throughout two decades, Mira makes her home in Laguna Beach, California.

Artist Statement

Creativity is a journey of soul, a union with Spirit, a purification through Beauty, and an immersion with Earth.
It is about growing in consciousness to an ancient intimacy of Self and the higher realms, and the eternal connection we share with each other, no matter how obscured it may seem at any given time.
Creativity, in all its forms, is a vital bridge to connecting: Connecting us to ourselves, to Spirit, to each other.

"Creativity Connects My Soul To Life.
I Become One With The Cosmos, The Canvas, The Paint, The Brush.”

~ Mira Lisa

• CONNECTING •

Creativity is an engagement with my soul, a journey of Spirit; a union with Beauty. My expression comes about through my increasing experience of color and form and how it feels in the body, and the visual engagement with Earth and sky. Color is forever my guiding light.

I have been deeply touched by the words of Kandinsky that there is a ‘social responsibility’ in being an artist: that each artist’s mission is to share with the world ‘the inner life,’ to bring to the world that which illuminates the soul. I have come to realize that there is an inner life within our humanity that makes us eternally connected to each other, no matter how obscured it may seem at any given time. It remains forever present. It is never lost. Art, in all its forms, is a vital bridge to that connection, connecting us to ourselves, connecting us to each other.
